SLATTED PINE LOW TABLE

A low slatted pine table built from thick reclaimed timber, the top composed of evenly spaced pine slats nailed across two wide side beams and raised on four heavy square legs. The construction is entirely utilitarian, the kind of object made for a workshop, a market, or a loading dock, and entirely resolved as a result. The wood has darkened and worn unevenly across the surface, the grain raised, the knots standing proud, the nail heads rusted in place.
