SLATE & ANCIENT TRUNK SIDETABLE
A raw slab of fractured slate resting on a section of deeply weathered tree trunk. The slate top is entirely unworked, its edges split and jagged, its surface layered in the grey-green tones of deep geological time. The trunk base is equally untouched — bark long gone, the exposed wood fissured and ridged into something that reads more like stone than timber.
The result is a side table that feels genuinely found rather than designed — and all the better for it. Solid, stable, and visually arresting at every angle. As shown, it holds its own beside a lounge chair without effort, functioning equally as a drinks table, a sculpture plinth, or simply an object that earns its place in a room. There is no other one like it.
