A pair of high-back lounge chairs in the Swedish cabinetmaker tradition, the upholstered frame rising to a gently winged back with a single button at the shoulder — a restrained gesture that anchors the whole silhouette. The arms are open and angular, the exposed wood frames carved to a tapered profile and finished in warm stained beech, the tips of each arm shaped with a careful sculptural attention that characterises the best Swedish cabinetwork of the period. The original woven fabric in a warm sandy tone is intact throughout. Small, light, and entirely well-proportioned — chairs that read as quietly sculptural rather than imposing. Sold as a pair.
