"INCA" LOUNGE CHAIR

Designed by Arne Norell in the 1960s, the Inca is one of the most enduring expressions of Scandinavian craft — low-slung, generously proportioned, and built to be lived in. Norell founded his studio in Aneby, Sweden, and became known for a construction philosophy that rejected glue and screws in favor of leather straps and buckles, lending each piece an honest structural integrity. The Inca remained in production for decades, a quiet testament to how well the design holds. It retains its original saddle leather in supple condition with a warm, lived-in patina; the frames are solid beech with visible wooden dowels, a Norell hallmark. One remains available.
