CABINET ON CASTERS

A two-door painted pine cabinet of substantial scale, the exterior retaining its original paint in a deep teal-black tone that has worn and burnished over time to reveal the warm wood beneath at every edge and corner. The wide plank doors are secured with original iron strap hardware and open to a fully intact interior fitted with four shelves divided into compartments. The shelves warped just enough from age to confirm their century of service. The whole case sits on its original cast iron casters, giving the piece a mobility that speaks to its working life, whether in a farmhouse, school, or workshop. No ornament anywhere. Just good pine, honest iron, and a color that has only improved with age.
